WHAT WE DO

Heating and Cooling Services in Columbus, OH

Two services. Columbus gives each one a full season.

A short menu is a choice here, not a gap. Columbus works a heating system hard from October into April and a cooling system hard from June into September, and a three-person crew stays good by doing the repair side of both, deeply, instead of a little of everything. Most calls are seen the same day. Every job starts with a free, hassle-free, no-obligation estimate.

Heating Repair

The winter half of the house: furnaces that will not light, will not stay lit, or heat two rooms and forget the rest; blower motors, boards, ignitors, and thermostats; heat pumps working their long January shifts and the backup heat behind them. If it should be making the house warm and is not, it is probably on this page. Heating repair

AC Repair

The summer half: air conditioners blowing warm, freezing over, short cycling, or sitting silent while the house climbs a degree an hour. Capacitors, contactors, condenser fans, refrigerant leaks, and frozen coils, plus the airflow problems that disguise themselves as cooling problems. AC repair

When repair is not the answer

Sometimes the readings close the case: a heat exchanger failed, a compressor at the end of its life, a system whose parts have left the catalogs. Then replacement gets discussed plainly, in the same conversation, with the repair price beside it where a repair exists, and the numbers that forced the question laid out where you can see them. A replacement furnace or air conditioner, installed, is part of these two services. What never happens is a replacement decided before your system has had its hearing.

What we do not do

New construction installation belongs to the builders' own crews. Plumbing, electrical panels, and roofing belong to other trades, and if your problem lives there we will tell you so rather than sell you a heating or cooling answer to it. Duct cleaning as a standalone product is not on the menu either; ductwork enters our work when it is the reason a system underperforms.

Not sure whether your problem is heating or cooling side, or neither? It does not matter. Call Call for same-day help and describe what the house is doing, or start with the free estimate. Sorting that out is the first part of the job, and it is ours, not yours.
